Off Road Course, sponsored by the All Wheel Drive Club

Returning for the 2021 Great British Land Rover Show is the opportunity to drive your own vehicle round our fantastic on-site 2.4 mile off road course.

The course has several levels of difficulty and is suitable for all levels of driver ability and experience. The course is also suitable for all makes and models from Series I’s to New Defenders and everything in between!

What’s more, the All Wheel Drive Club will be on hand to offer advice and tips on how to drive off road and even help you out should you be unfortunate enough to become stuck!

Advance tickets are only £10 to drive around the course (£15 on the day) and can be purchased at the same time as your half price advance tickets for entry to the Great British Land Rover Show at www.greatbritishlrshow.com/tickets.

Advance booking is highly recommended to avoid disapointment and to be able to select your preferred start time around the course.

Land Rover Experience

With intense inclines, dramatic descents, sideways tilts and more, the Land Rover Experience is all about experiencing our vehicles’ signature capability first hand. After all, where’s the fun in flat?

Be driven round the Land Rover Experience by one of Land Rover’s specialist instructors.

The Dynamic Display Equipment has been designed to showcase the technology and capabilities of all Land Rover products. Each piece of equipment in our portfolio bring its own obstacle and dimension to your Experience.

The pieces at this event will include, Mini Terrapod 2 (MTP2), Articulating Ramps (ARTs) and Side Slope.

Extreme articulations will enable the vehicles suspension systems to extend and traction systems to initiate; hill climbing ability, Hill Start Assist and Gradient Release Control – allowing the gradual release of the brakes for a composed and controlled descent are just a few of many features that can be seen during the activity.

On some obstacles, the vehicle is taken through the unit as well as over it. As the vehicle drives through the centre of the Mini Terrapod 2, it must negotiate its route across a set of rollers. This perfectly demonstrates the ability of the Land Rover range to tackle low grip surfaces and showcases features such as, Electronic Traction Control.

Ask our knowledgeable instructors about technology, features, extras and vehicles past and present. They will be more than happy to help.

Land Rover Experience tickets cost £5 in advance, £7.50 on the day.  Book here
